Bishop Norman Pierce

Explosive, empowering, and educating are some of the words that define Bishop Norman Gerard Pierce, II. He is the Founder, Pastor, and Lead Servant of The Real Church in “The Good Life City” of Albany, Georgia. He has a ministry that impacts and empowers all individuals, believing that every church should be a real church: Relevant, Empowering, Alive and Loving.

Bishop Pierce is a native of Savannah, Georgia where he began his education in the Chatham County Public School System. His continued education led to the Valdosta Public School System where following graduation he earned an Associate of Arts and Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from Grantham University, a Bachelor’s and Masters of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies/Theology from North Carolina College of Theology, and a Doctorate of Divinity Degree from St. Thomas University of Jacksonville, Florida. Having served in ministry from childhood, Bishop Pierce has been preaching the gospel for over 25 years.

Bishop Pierce travels extensively ministering the Word of God and has had the opportunity to be mentored by great men and women of God. He firmly believes that every leader needs a leader, and every mentor needs a mentor.

Bishop Pierce is a pastor who is known for his love and compassion for people of different races, cultures and creeds. His heart and a special love for people has allowed him to receive numerous awards for outstanding achievement in his community. In Bishop Pierce’s own words, “After all the titles and achievements one may gain, God is seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth.” He believes in addition to our service to the body of Christ, praise and worship is our greatest gift to God. Bishop Pierce is a devoted husband and father. He is married to the lovely Elder Kizzie Pierce and together, they are building the Kingdom of God.
